So on Saturday, October 23rd my author website was reviewed by the website 1st Turning Point. I had submitted my website for review a few months ago when they started that section of their website and I finally got to read one of their reviewers feedback. I was excited to read it and see that the reviewer, Detra Fitch, gave me 4 Parrots in total with a lot of feedback on what she thought was good what she thought I needed to change a bit to make it better. Here is a quote from her review:

Phoebe Jordan’s website is very well done. It is professional and pleasing to the eyes. If her site is any example of how good her stories will be, then she has a bright future as an author!

If you want to read the entire review and maybe even leave a comment on what you thought of her review you can read it by clicking here!
As many of my loyal readers have guessed I haven't been very active with posting book reviews, author interviews or author guest blogs these past couple of weeks. I posted that I got a job during the summer and it's been taking a large part of my time that reading my books for pleasure doesn't. Then at the beginning of October my mom and me had to start packing all of our stuff because we were moving into a new apartment that we would be sharing with my grandmother and one of my aunts. So all this month I've been dreading moving because I have almost 2,000 books to pack and try to find out how I'm going to get them all situated into the new apartment with out getting rid of any that I couldn't live with out.

Well I'm finally moved into the new apartment and I know that it will take a very long time to adjust to it. I don't have easy access to the internet right now since I have to share the DSL with my aunt's desktop computer since we don't have wireless right not though we are trying to work it out. So I wanted to warn everyone that I'll try to post book reviews as soon as possible because I have read a few books that I need to review soon. I will also be keeping up wiht what I'm currently reading on Shelfari, Goodreads and Barnes & Noble if anyone is interested in following me on there.

Today I'm hosting Keta Diablo on her wonderful Blog Tour for her current erotic romance Where the Rain is Made. I'm happy that she has stopped by to answer some very interesting interview questions that I had such a fun time reading and I'm sure you all will too. And to find out more about the CONTEST where you can win a free eBook read the bottom of the interview.

On your website you break your backlist into two categories: "erotic" and "m/m" romances. Which do you prefer to write? Is one genre easier to write than the other?

I’ll say the male/male novellas are quicker because they’re not full-length novels. The erotic romance is almost always full novels. And there’s more research with the historical romance. I enjoy writing both because of the variety and the different lengths, but if you really pinned me down I’d have to say I’m really fond of reading and writing historical romance.

How did you start your writing career?

Dust and Moonlight
Keta Diablo
The first book I wrote was a sensual historical based on a real-life event in my family history. Not too long after that first book I began writing erotic romance and like I mentioned above added Gay fiction. Several years ago I wrote an erotic fantasy romance called Dust and Moonlight and I really enjoyed writing that genre too. I hope to do another fantasy/time travel one day. More information about Dust and Moonlight (Amazon Kindle) here.

What is the best book you've read in 2010? What upcoming 2010 book release are you most looking forward to reading?

I absolutely loved The Spymaster’s Lady by Joanna Bourne and hope to get to the other books in the series soon. I think she’s a wonderful writer with an amazing grasp of plot and character depth. Like many authors, I don’t have a lot of time to read so I have to be very selective in what I choose. I’ll often read the reviews and ask around if I’m on the lookout for a new book. My TBR pile AND TBR list is huge. I still have book sitting on my nightstand that I received last Christmas and haven’t had the time to open them yet. I know, pathetic.

What are your favorite genres to read?

When time, I do read in a wide variety. Right now, I have about three books going, which isn’t unusual for me. One is a fantasy, one is a historical romance and the other is a book on writing.

Tell us about your current release.

Thank you for asking about Where the Rain is Made. My youngest son is responsible for the inspiration behind the book. About six years ago he took a keen interest in American history, particularly Native American history. I can’t tell you the number of hours we spent at the library checking out books and reading about all the different tribes. For some reason, he loved the history on the Dog Soldiers and so we accumulated a lot of documents, research articles, etc. About a year later, his reading interests shifted, and here I was with all this information about the Cheyenne. It made sense that I would write a book about the Dog Soldiers.

Tatiana Caldwell

You’ve never heard the fable Rumpelstiltskin told like this…

Due to her father’s constant bragging, word of Anna Miller’s beauty and virtue piques the interest of King Thomas.

Today Kiki Howell is guest blogging about her currently released novel, The Sorcerer's Songs, which I will be reviewing on here soon. Kiki has been on the blog before for a written interview and guest blog but that is not all I got to chat live with her on my podcast show as well, TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan, which you all can enjoy listening to anytime you want by either going to Blog Talk Radio or the TAMFA Podcast's official website. Now onto Kiki's guest blog:

I am a paranormal romance author, no if, ands or buts about it. It is mostly what I read, and about the only thing I write. I got this confirmation of that a few weeks ago when I finished writing my first story without any paranormal elements in it. I had to giggle that my heroine ended up into reading paranormal romance, and there were all kinds of references to that effect.

People ask my why paranormal romance though, and I am not sure I have a clear answer even in my own mind. It fascinates me, no it enthralls me—and I just adore the escape. Problems are different when paranormal or fantasy elements are added into the plot. As is sex, *clears throat* but that is a whole other can of worms there. LOL.

Another thing I like is that the lessons in life that we all learn, well they can become complicated by the supernatural. Just consider knowing right from wrong. If you had certain powers, the lure of using them to your personal advantage without regard to others…what a heavy weight to bear. My latest hero, a sorcerer, had to deal with that very issue on several levels.

I wrote The Sorcerer’s Songs using my husband's song lyrics to create the plot. Actually, this story started with one specific song called, The Road. Click Here if you wish to listen to the song. The lyrics had always touched me, and just scratched at me to write a story. However, there were no paranormal elements in any of the songs I used. And yet, my first thought was, what powers can I give him. Immediately I thought with music being so influential, capable of having such an effect on people, it could be used in spells too. A little research both in the psychology field and into Wicca gave me a wealth of knowledge to work with…to let my imagination run away with.

Keta Diablo is one of my favorite erotic romance authors and because I enjoyed her male/male contemporary erotic romance releases Crossroads, Crossroads Revisited and Crossroads Showdown, which are the first three books in her Crossroads series and her Male/Male contemporary short story, Hot and Sticky, with Amber Quill | Amber Allure. So when I got the chance to read her just upcoming Male/Male historical novella, Long, Hard Ride, with the new online publisher Decadent Publishing. I read a very intriguing excerpt on Keta's website that had me wanting to read the novel as soon as possible. The story starts off where we meet Grayson Drake and he has been sent by a covert spy agency from the South to break Marx Wellbourne out of Elmira Prison at all costs. Gray has been ordered to return Wellbourne to Richmond so the Confederate Army can pick his brain about the maps he’s memorized but Gray soon discovers Marx is courting death from malaria and pneumonia.

It's been a while since I've had a guest blogger but I am happy to have paranormal and urban fantasy romance author Ashlynn Monroe who I've met online through the wonderful online publisher Wild Horse Press. She contacted me about reviewing a few of her recently published eBooks as well as interviewing her on my review blog, and then J.M. at Wild Horse Press contacted me about reviewing Ashlynn's debut novel, Hidden Magic. And don't forget that on Thursday, July 29th I will be chatting live with Linda on my live podcast show TAMFA—Phoebe Jordan about her paranormal and urban fantasy novels. She also has a written interview that I posted on Tuesday, July 27th if you want to learn more about Ashlynn. Now onto Ashlynn's guest blog about her 2 currently released novels:

* * * * * *

How I wrote Passion's Escape:

I love science fiction. My very first terrible novel that I wrote as a teen was science fiction and I’ve never lost my love of writing the genre. I love the freedom of creating worlds completely out of my own imagination. I also identify with the battle that women have been fighting since time began, to find happiness in a man’s world. I wanted Passion to be just as her name described her, a woman with heart who was not afraid to use that heart. She is the strength of every woman, that’s why I dedicated the book to women everywhere. She’s the kind of woman who can take on a life or death battle of impossible odds and still be desirable and unafraid to enjoy pleasure. She’s one of my all time favorite characters to write. This is one of the stories that I wrote this year. I started it at the end of March and I had it finished by mid-April. This story was so much fun I wrote every spare moment of the day.

My first idea came to me about a woman who had to escape her planet using skills that are not typically ones a woman has, there aren’t too many female mechanics today and in the future, I’m doubtful that this will change. I wanted Passion to be smart and brave and I wanted the men in her life to arrive during her greatest conflict. They present her a better option and she takes it. I love that about her, she’s not afraid to take a gamble. I also wanted to write a book where the girl has two simultaneous lovers, I’ve never written anything like that before and I felt that Passion was just the character to try it out on.

It's been a while since I've done a written interview but I happy to have paranormal and urban fantasy romance author Ashlynn Monroe who I've met online through the wonderful online publisher Wild Horse Press. She contacted me about reviewing a few of her recently published eBooks as well as interviewing her on my review blog, and then J.M. at Wild Horse Press contacted me about reviewing Ashlynn's debut novel, Hidden Magic. And don't forget that on Thursday, July 29th I will be chatting live with Linda on my live podcast show TAMFA—Phoebe Jordan about her paranormal and urban fantasy novels and also she will be guest blogging about her current release here on the review blog. Now onto my interview with Ashlynn:

Phoebe Jordan: When did you know that writing romance was going to be the thing that you would do with your life? Which author inspired you to start writing romance?

Ashlynn Monroe: I started writing when I was thirteen. My cousins encouraged me (even if that first novel was awful) and I kept writing. I’ve written stories as a hobby since that time. When I turned thirty, I made a promise to myself actually to submit some of the stories for publication. Wild Horse Press was the first publisher that contacted me. Since February of this year, I’ve been writing like crazy and I’m currently contacted with six publishers and one magazine. My paternal grandmother gave me garbage bags full of romance novels in the summer and that was the root of my love for romance. I was reading them long before I should’ve.

Phoebe: Did you know what type of romance you wanted to write about or did you experiment with different genres before you chose the one that you felt was for you?

Ashlynn: I am not genre bias…I write everything! I have contracts out there for urban fantasy, dark romance, paranormal romance, science fiction romance, and contemporary romance. I even have a steam punk romance that is currently looking for a home.

Phoebe: What was the first fiction you ever wrote? And do you still have it with you?

Ashlynn: I sadly did not keep my first novel it was titled Arianna’s Circle and sadly, I can describe it as the blue lagoon meets star wars. My cousin drew me a cover for it for my fourteenth birthday, and I still have her lovely framed art, but I actually threw out all my teenage work about five years ago during some frantic spring-cleaning when I was pregnant with my youngest child.

Phoebe: How much research do you have to do for your novels and does it take you a long time to gather that research?

Ashlynn: It depends on the novel. I research places, if I’m writing about states or cities that I’ve never been to. I did a lot of research for my Templar vampire series, contracted by Keith Publications. I have a steam punk romance that is looking for a home. My steam punk romance as it takes place during the civil war. I also researched into the workings of steam engines and double-checked my historical facts about the civil war.

The second book in Tawny Taylor's popular Masters of Sin series is available now in ebook formats.

Troi and Amun—one dominant, the other submissive, both alpha—are possessed by the spirit of Lust. Its dark demands have tested their will every minute of every day for centuries. And they’ve committed deviant, selfish acts to satisfy its unrelenting carnal hunger. But the guilt doesn’t overwhelm them until they meet Oriel. She is their salvation, their peace. They need her. But they don’t deserve her.

Her body responds to their every look and touch. But she can’t—won't—take a chance on them. Until she realizes she can run away, but she can’t escape from the emotions they stir.

As darkness closes in, Troi and Amun’s lives, and souls, hang in the balance. The beast will consume them if Oriel can’t accept her own dark needs and trust the two men who have stirred the decadent desires within her.

Hey my loyal readers and followers! I know I haven't posted much though I have created posts that I wanted to put up for everyone to enjoy but kind of left them half done. I've been pretty busy since I got a part-time job at my local Modell's Sporting Goods store that is luckily only 15 minutes away from my apartment in the beginning of June. It only now that I've gotten less days of work so I decided to post about it today so that you all wouldn't think that I completely abandoned my review blog because I haven't. I have gotten some new eBooks as well as some print books that I'm going to be posting reviews for very soon though you have to be patient with me since I'm only one person and writing reviews is not always easy.

I'm planning to try and take some of my free time so I can catch up on all those half written blog posts and reviews that I've been meaning to get up here on the blog. I'm also very excited about my author website which I started in March of 2010 and it's completely set up now with all the information about the novels that I'm currently working on which is 1 Paranormal Romance, 1 Contemporary Romance and a Young Adult Paranormal Romance. They aren't finished yet and will need a lot of work but I hope to have them completed as soon as I can though with everything going on I'm not sure when that will be but I will keep you all posted on it. Don't forget that I also have my other websites up and running that you can find on the menu bar under the header of the website.

Well today is my first day at BookExpo America and when I woke up this morning I was very nervous since I have never been the Javits Center before and I was going there alone. I was going to meet up with Tori the Book Faery at 9AM so that we could get to the Press Registration together and then hang out until we would go our separate ways since we have different tastes. I didn't take as many pictures as I wanted to since I was just so overwhelmed with how big the place was and how many people there was at BEA. I didn't actually have my entire day planned out like Tori did so I didn't get to see everything that I wanted too but I hope that next year I will plan things much better now that I know somewhat the layout and the chaos of the place. So after leaving my apartment in Queens at around 7:30AM I took the E train to 34th Street Penn Station and I had to walk 5 to 6 blocks in a straight line before I finally found the Javits Center. I didn't know exactly where it was since like I said I never been there but I walked straight from 8th Avenue on 34th Street all the way to 11th Avenue and I finally found the very big Javits Center. There were so many people there that I had to stop in the very hot sun for about 5 minutes to figure out that I was in the right place as well to take out my cell phone so that I can see if Tori was on her way.

Tuesday, May 25, 2010
Hello everyone! Today is the first day of BookExpo America that is being hosted at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. This is the first year I'm going to be at the BEA since I didn't know about it until a few months ago by my friend, Terry Kate, creator of Romance in the Backseat. I was going to go with her but since she couldn't make it back to NYC from LA this week I had to find someone else that I could meet up with. So I am going to go tomorrow with Tori, creator of the Book Faery book blog since we are both from NYC and have registered as Press to go. I'm going to be taking my Dell Mini-Inspiron 10 with me tomorrow as well as my mom's digital camera so that I can take pictures as well as videos of my time there. I will be posting them as I get them so that you all can experience it with me as I got through the various booth's that will be there. I plan to meet Cathy Maxwell, Linda Lael Miller, Alison Kent, Rachel Vincent and various other authors who are going to be at their publishers booths as well as the authors autograph signings. I'm so looking forward to tomorrow!

Today I'm reviewing Grace Cooopersmith's debut novel Nancy's Theory of Style that I got a review copy of. If you have read Marta Acosta's Casa Dracula series you have met Nancy Carrington-Chambers since she is friends with Milagro de los Santos. I have anxiously been waiting for this release every since I interviewed Marta Acosta on my live podcast show, TAMFA | Phoebe Jordan, in September 2009 and she gave me a bit of the details to this novel as well as the 4th Casa Dracula book. We only got a glimpse of the lively, pretty young socialite Nancy Carrington-Chambers in the Casa Dracula series but in the start of this novel we start to get a bigger picture of what she is like. Nancy has always believed that an excellent sense of style and strict attention to detail are what it takes to achieve a perfectly chic life. Nancy is a woman of certain tastes and has lived a very privilaged life though has never really received any emotional comfort from her parents throughout her entire life. After she leaves her husband who has turned their McMansion into an unlivable place she’s determined to make her event planning company, Froth, a real winner, but her new prize assignment—reinventing the turgid Barbary Coast Historical Museum fundraiser—must be spectacular in every way. Luckily, Nancy now has the perfect assistant (which her husband sent her way) named Derek Cathcart who is British, impeccably dressed, gorgeous, and clearly gay—so why does Nancy find him so attractive?

Eden Bradley's story in the Smutketeers' Wasteland anthology, Book Three: The Breeder, is out now! Buy it now at MBAM or on Amazon!

Wasteland: The Breeder by Eden Bradley

In 2012, the world came to a grinding halt as radiation hit from a massive solar storm. Crops died, animals perished, cities fell and humans became little more than beasts themselves. Under the threat of starvation, civility was reduced to mere memory. Only the strongest men survived, and physically weaker women and children wasted to nothingness.

I do love paranormal romances very much because the authors create this totally different world that is similar to our own world. But these worlds these authors create are filled with all these paranormal creatures that we only think is myth but are totally real in paranormal romances. I know that author Jessica Coulter Smith loves to read paranormal romances so when she writes paranormal romances are what she ends up creating. I had the pleasure of hosting her guest blog about her release Moonlight Protector, which is the first book of her paranormal Ashton Grove Werewolves series and I also reviewed it as well. I also had the pleasure of interviewing her as well if you want to find out more about Jessica's writing and about some of her hobbies and favorite authors. I reviewed her second and third book in her series fabulous series called Moonlight Hero and Moonlight Guardian for both Jessica and her publisher Wild Horse Press and what a nice read that was for me. I also had the pleasure of reviewing the sort of prequel to her Ashton Grove Werewolves series that was previously published by another online publisher but was re-issued with Wild Horse Press called, Whispering Lake.

Well today I'm reviewing Jessica's May 25th release novel, Moonlight Champion, the fourth book in her Ashton Grove Werewolves series, which I was lucky enough to receive an advanced review copy from Wild Horse Press a few days ago. I love Jessica's novels and was happy that they sent me a copy to review because I've read the blurb for this novel a while back before it was given an official released date on Jessica's website. Since reading the first book in her wonderfully written Ashton Grove Werewolves series I have been anxiously waiting for the next book in the series to be published as soon as possible because I am officially addicted! Now we all have read about the three Andrews brothers, Cole, Gabriel and Michael finding their mates and having their happily ever after though they had some trouble along the way. But now it's their cousin Conner Tierney's turn to find his mate and have his happily ever after.

Keta Diablo is one of my favorite erotic romance authors and because I enjoyed her male/male contemporary erotic romance releases Crossroads, Crossroads Revisited and Crossroads Showdown, which are the first three books in her Crossroads series. So when I got the chance to read her just released Male/Male contemporary short story, Hot and Sticky, with Amber Quill | Amber Allure. I read a very intriguing excerpt on Keta's website that had me wanting to read the novel as soon as possible. The story starts off where we meet Hugh Landon, an up and coming lawyer in Washington, D.C., who is in big trouble because when his career hangs in the balance over a missing file, Hugh must call his paralegal, Milan Vassar at the midnight hour and plead for assistance. Hugh has been having trouble controling his sexual fantasies about Milan ever since he started workign with him 8 months ago and being with him at that late of an hour pushes him to the edge.

Wasteland: The Wanderer
Wasteland: The Wanderer by Crystal Jordan

Love is the most dangerous experiment of all.

There is only one rule in the Wasteland: survive.

The few remaining women are as reviled as they are worshipped, a commodity any man must pay to touch. And to touch a Wanderer, he may pay with his life.

For Ezra, the risk is worth the reward. People speak his name with the same reverent terror reserved for ancient wrathful gods, but he must always be ready to fend off those who would take what’s his. And what he wants to be his is Kadira.

I had such a blast this past week interviewing several different romance authors who attended Romantic Times BOOKlovers Convention this year. I got to interview Lauren Dane, MaryJanice Davidson and Lori Foster which was amazing because I have read several of their books which was wonderful to talk about them with the authors. I hope that next year I will get to interview them again as well as other different romance authors  who will be attending the convention that I have yet to interview on my podcast show. I am also looking forward to when the Romantic Times BOOKlovers Convention comes to New York City because I don't have the money to travel at the moment.

New Romance Author Interview Podcasts with Phoebe Jordan on BlogTalkRadio

Today I have an RT BOOKlovers Convention special show for you because I will be chatting romance author M. A. Ellis who will be talking about her currently released novels, Not Quite Vanilla, Shaken and Stirred and Love’s Choice. And she may even give us a sneak peek into some of her future books in her as well as any of her novels that she may have in the works right now and any other projects. She will be telling us about her writing experience and what she has in the works writing wise.

M.A. Ellis is a firm believer that everyone should pursue their dreams…no matter how long it takes to achieve them. She wrote her first short story, What I Want To Be When I Grow Up, more than a few decades ago. It was read by a total of seven people. (For those who are interested, the answer to that intriguing statement was a toss up between a veterinarian and a nun.) Thanks to the encouragement of a creative writing guru at Northern Kentucky University, she stepped out of her neat little writing boundaries and penned an erotic poem, which ultimately led her to the vastly stimulating world of erotic romance. It’s a vocation she truly loves—equally as rewarding as furry, four-legged creatures and a heck of a lot more entertaining than Friday nights at the nunnery. When not devoting her time to crafting tales of hot encounters and steamy romances that always have a happy ending, M.A. concentrates on the delightful task of honing her master baking skills, eagerly focusing on the realms of cheesecake and chocolate which are, in her humble opinion, the only ‘c’ words that matter. She lives in northwestern Pennsylvania where temperatures rival those of Ice Station Zebra a good portion of the year—making it the perfect arena for devising stories where one spark can ignite a welcomed inferno. Today I have an RT BOOKlovers Convention special show for you because I will be chatting romance author Gwynne Forster who will be talking about her currently released novels, A Change Had to Come, Finding Mr. Right and Swept Away. And she may even give us a sneak peek into some of her future books in her as well as any of her novels that she may have in the works right now and any other projects. She will be telling us about her writing experience and what she has in the works writing wise.

Gwynne Forster was born in North Carolina, grew up in Washington, D.C., and has lived, studied and worked in New York City ever since she came of voting age. She considers herself a humanitarian, a perspective that she inherited from her mother, a high school principal, and which she also attributes to her work and education in the social sciences, more specifically, demography. Her fiction writing reflects her training in the sociology of the family and her understanding of inter-personal relations. It should not be surprising then, that quite a few of Gwynne’s novels and novellas are set within the context of the family. Gwynne relaxes best when she is near—but not in—the water. She loves boating and would spend hours fishing daily if she could. Oddly, she never learned to swim, and she always wears a lifejacket when boating or fishing. Her bedroom faces a river, and if she didn’t work, she would spend a lot of time sitting in the bedroom gazing at the water and the passing boats. Moving water, she thinks, is soothing and relieves stress.

Fiction writing is Gwynne Forster’s second career. She holds bachelors and masters degrees in sociology, a master’s degree in economics/demography and has additional graduate credits in journalism. As a demographer, she is widely published. She is formerly chief of (non-medical) research in fertility and family planning in the Population Division of the United Nations in New York and served for four years as chairperson of the International Programme Committee of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (London, England). These positions took her on official business to sixty-three developed and developing countries. Gwynne sings on her church choir, loves to entertain, and is a museum hopper, gourmet cook and avid gardener. She enjoys classical music, opera, jazz and blues with her husband with whom she lives in New York City. You can find out more about her by either going to her Website, Blog, or Facebook Author Page.

New Romance Author Interview Podcasts with Phoebe Jordan on BlogTalkRadio

Today I have an RT BOOKlovers Convention special show for you because I will be chatting romance author Jade Lee/Kathy Lyons who will be talking about her currently released novels, Devil’s Bargain and Under His Spell. And she may even give us a sneak peek into some of her future books in her as well as any of her novels that she may have in the works right now and any other projects. She will be telling us about her writing experience and what she has in the works writing wise.

A USA Today Bestseller, Jade Lee has been scripting love stories since she first picked up a set of paper dolls. Ball gowns and rakish lords caught her attention early (thank you Georgette Heyer), and her fascination with the Regency began. And as a Taurus, she lives to pit a headstrong woman against a tortured hero just to watch them butt heads on the way to true love. Flesh wounds are rare, but the healing and laughter are real. Now an author of more than 30 romance novels, she finally gets to set these couples in the best girl-heaven of all: a Bridal Salon! This way she gets to live out all her wedding fantasies, one by one. (Let’s be honest, what girl has only one idea for her dream wedding?). And don’t forget Jade’s other name, Kathy Lyons. That’s Jade’s lighter, contemporary side. She writes for Harlequin Blaze merging hawt sex and funny relationships into really great reads. You can find out more about her by either going to her Website, the other Website, Blog, Facebook Author Page or Twitter.

Laura Bickle grew up in rural Ohio, reading entirely too many comic books out loud to her favorite Wonder Woman doll. After graduating with an MA in Sociology – Criminology from Ohio State University and an MLIS in Library Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she patrolled the stacks at the public library and worked with data systems in criminal justice. She now dreams up stories about the monsters under the stairs, also writing contemporary fantasy novels under the name Alayna Williams. She’s always had her nose in a book, has traveled the world over, and even tested the time-space continuum, thanks to the awesome power of the written word. One of her writing quirks is that she loves to include bits and pieces of her ancestors and ancestry in all of her books. Her family centers her and keeps her sane, which is why she enjoys adding elements of family, hearth, and home in all of her romances.

With 8 short stories and 15 novels to her credit, this award-winning, multi-published author’s books are available in paperback, hardcover, trade paperback, magazine, e-book, and audio book. You can find out more about her by either going to her Website, Blog, Facebook Author Page or Twitter.

I am finishing up my last semester before summer vacation and I have been so swamped with my readings, exams and such that I haven't had time to write up my reviews for all the books that I've been reading for publishers that have sent me books which isn't all that much. So I'm writing today because I need some help with trying to keep my blog active enough so that I don't lose the readers that I've have gotten since I opened my blog 2 years ago. So I'm looking for romance and young adult authors who would like to be interviewed on my blog and also guest blog about their books as well. I also am looking for anyone who happens to review books and wouldn't mind submitting a couple of their book reviews so I can post here with a link either to the original review you posted on your blog or a totally new review that you wouldn't mind me posting and linking back to your blog or website. I really appreciate anyone who can help me out and for my loyal readers who have stayed with me even though I've been a very bad blogger that hasn't kept her content updated regularly.

I have read a couple of ebooks published by Wild Horse Press which include ebooks by Jessica Coulter Smith, Linda Palmer, Paige WarrenT.L. MitchellJ. L. Oiler, Julie Kimbrell and Jessie Colter. Today I will be reviewing Linda Palmer's paranormal young adult called, My-Wolf, which is the first book of her Wolf of My Heart series and I was happy to get a copy to review. The heroine of the novel, Andee Rivera, has no idea what she's getting into when she saves Jonah Killebrew from drowning in a chilly mountain lake which is where the house she stopped by to check up on the cat that her professor asked her to care for. He's badly injured—wild animal bites from the look of his wounds—and as a fledgling healer, she wants to help him recover. But his bites are more than they seem to be and all the potions and salves in the world may not be enough to save him. Linda has yet to disappoint me when ever I pick up a copy of her paranormal young adult novels. Her novels have always kept me on my toes and wanting more even when I have finished reading her novel. I had such fun reading it that I seriously was dreading finishing this novel since I didn't want it to end which always happens when I read Linda's novels. Linda Palmer delivers yet another wonderfully suspenseful and exciting young adult novel about a young woman who finds out something unexpected about herself and is also dragged into a whole new world that is not freaking her out since she found her true love. This novel is just the start of a great series that I have to recommend to both young adult and adults alike since it is filled with young love and exciting suspense that will have you on the edge of your seat. I will definitely be keeping an eye out for all of Linda's future young adult novels since she is seriously becoming one of my favorite YA authors. I give this book 4.5 Open Books:

Here is the description of the book from Linda's website and picture:

MY-WOLF by Linda Palmer $5.98 (Book 1)(233 Pages)

Andee Rivera has no idea what she's getting into when she saves Jonah Killebrew from drowning in a chilly mountain lake. He's badly injured—wild animal bites from the look of his wounds—and as a fledgling healer, she wants to help. But his bites are more than they seem, and all the potions and salves in the world may not be enough to save him.
