Well you may or may not remember but last year 4 of Nora Roberts novels became Lifetime original movies (Angels Fall, Blue Smoke, Carolina Moon and Montana Sky) and they weren't exactly true to the book but they were great movies and the movie Angels Fall made it really big. That lead to getting 4 more of Nora Roberts books becoming Lifetime original movies this year. Here is what I got in my newsletter about the films:
Lifetime TV press release wrote: Airing at 9 PM (ET/PT) over four consecutive Saturdays, the films include Nora Roberts’ Northern Lights, starring LeAnn Rimes (Holiday in Your Heart), Eddie Cibrian (Ugly Betty) and Rosanna Arquette (Desperately Seeking Susan), premiering Saturday, March 21; Nora Roberts’ Midnight Bayou, starring Jerry O’Connell (Crossing Jordan), Lauren Stamile (Grey’s Anatomy) and Faye Dunaway (Chinatown), premiering Saturday, March 28; Nora Roberts’ High Noon, starring Emilie de Ravin (Lost), Ivan Sergei (Jack and Jill) and Cybill Shepherd (The L Word), premiering Saturday, April 4; and Nora Roberts’ Tribute, starring Brittany Murphy (8 Mile) and Jason Lewis (Sex and the City), premiering Saturday, April 11. Acclaimed director Martha Coolidge (Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, Valley Girl) directs Nora Roberts’ Tribute.
If you want to read more about it here is the link to the PDF document. And check out Nora Roberts website because has clips and interviews from all 4 sets of the movie.

I absolutely love, love, LOVE Nora Roberts. I've been reading her books since my mom's friend gave me her daughter's old books and Nora Roberts' book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter's Warrior Song. So now I'm going to say that the second book in the Sign of Seven Trilogy Series is a very suspenseful novel about 3 totally different different men who were born on the same month and the same day and at the same time, Caleb, Fox and Gage. I loved reading this third and last book in the trilogy and I have to say that Nora Roberts is a genius! This third book was an excellent read and I was a bit spooked when I was reading it because Roberts just made me feel like I was there with her details and it was as good as the first and second book. It reminded me a bit of Stephen King's work but with Roberts romance mixed into it. This book is Gage's book and in this book we see all 6 of the characters that we have gotten to know in book 1, Blood Brothers, and book 2, The Hollow. We have found out in first two books that the three men are connected to the three women through blood somehow since the evil came to Hawkins Hollow in 1652 and since the three boys let the evil out again when they were 10 years old. Cal and Quinn have fallen in love in the first book, Fox and Layla have fallen in love in the second book and now it is Gage's and Cybil's turn to fall in love. All of them learn more about the past and they have more knowledge of what they are all dealing with but it is only getting worse for them and they only have a couple of months left before July comes rolling around and all hell breaks loose on the town of Hawkins Hollow. Gage and Cybil are the last couple of the 6 of them to finally give in to the love that they share even though they can't stand each other since they first met.
This is the last and conclusion to the Sign of Seven Trilogy and it really rapped up the entire story really nicely because everyone got a happily ever after. There were a lot of scary parts where I had no idea what would happen next and really thought things were going to end badly. I loved reading every minute of this book and again I have to say that Nora Roberts is a genius and I can always depend on her coming out with excellent reading material. I recommend this series for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. I give this book 4 Open Books:

THE PAGAN STONE $ 7.99 (Book 3)(322 Pages)
BLOOD AND DEATH, FIRE AND MADNESS…
loom over the town of Hawkins Hollow. Every seven years, the seventh day of the seventh month portends seven days of violence and mayhem. This year, the darkness is stronger than ever. And only friendship and family, promise and passion can stop it…
Years ago, after their blood brother ritual, Gage, Fox and Caleb emerged from the woods, each with a piece of bloodstone. Now, it will become their weapon in the final fight against the demon they awakened. Winner take all… Shared nightmares, visions of blood and fire, and random violence plague the longtime friends and Quinn, Layla, and Cybil, the women bound to them by Fate. None of them can ignore the fact that, this year, the demon has grown stronger—feeding off the terror it creates. But now the three pieces of the bloodstone have been fused back together. If only they could figure out how to use it. A gambling man like Gage has no trouble betting on his crew to find a way. And though he and Cybil share the gift of seeing the future, that’s all they have in common. Were they to take their flirtation to the next level, it would be on their own terms, not because Fate decreed it. But Gage knows that a woman like Cybil—with her brains and strength and devastating beauty—can only bring him luck. Whether it’s good or bad has yet to be determined—and could mean the difference between absolute destruction or an end to the nightmare for Hawkins Hollow.

I absolutely love, love, LOVE Nora Roberts. I've been reading her books since my mom's friend gave me her daughter's old books and Nora Roberts' book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter's Warrior Song. Montana Sky is a very suspenseful novel that kept me wanting more and it was divided into four parts for the four different seasons. It's also a LifetimeTV movie that is also out on DVD and I have to say the book is better than the movie but the movie was good because it did give a sorta more physical and visiual outlook on the characters. The movie had the names and characters alright but their where a lot of scenes that were never in the book and it made it a bit disappointing for me to watch. It is romantic too and I love that mixture of suspense and romance in a novel.
The book is about 3 sisters who hardly know each other ever exsited. The all had the same father but different mothers and only Willa Mercy knew her father because she lived and worked with him on their family ranch all her life. She expected the ranch to automatically come into her hands after her fathers death but she is sure in for a surprise when her half sisters come into the picture after the funeral. Tess is from Hollywood and so she plans to come to the ranch claim her third of the ranch so she can hightail it back to her life in Hollywood. Lily is coming out of a bad marriage so she's grateful for the place to stay at the ranch but she isn't expecting anything because she has only learned to expect disappointment and cruelty from men. All three of these ladies are going to have to suck it up if they want to keep the ranch and the men they fall in love with along the way makes for an wonderful and entertaining novel. I recommend this book for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good and I can tell you this, Nora Roberts never disappoints. Here is the description of the book from the back cover and picture:
MONTANA SKY $ 7.99 (480 Pages)
When Jack Mercy died, he left behind a lot of enemies…and a ranch worth nearly twenty million dollars. Now his three daughters—each born of a different marriage, and each unknown to the others—are gathered to hear the reading of the will. Tess, who has reluctantly flown in from Hollywood, just hopes to fly back with as much cash as possible—as soon as possible. I absolutely love, love, LOVE Nora Roberts. I've been reading her books since my mom's friend gave me her daughter's old books and Nora Roberts' book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter's Warrior Song. So now I'm going to say that the Irish Trilogy series is a very suspenseful novel about the Gallaghers Aidan, Shawn and Darcy who run an Irish Pub and are being pushed along by a Faerie Prince. I recommend this series for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. Here is the descriptions of the books from the back covers and pictures:

JEWELS OF THE SUN $ 7.99 (Book 1)(366 Pages)

Dear Reader,

Those of you who are familiar with my books know that Ireland is one of my favorite places to visit, in real life and in fiction. It’s a country of dramatic cliffs and quiet fields. One of myth and magic and legend. In Jewels of the Sun, I’ve borrowed from some of those myths and created my own legend. It could have happened. I’d like you to meet the Gallaghers of Ardmore: Aidan, Shawn, and Darcy, who run the local pub in this pretty seaside village in the county of Waterford. Not far from the village is a cottage, a place of magic where a lonely American woman comes to explore her roots and her heart.

She won’t be alone in the house, for there is another lonely woman in residence. She just happens to be a ghost. With the help of a faerie prince who loved well if not wise, Aidan Gallagher of Ardmore and Jude Frances Murray from Chicago will find their place, and take the first step toward breaking a hundred-year spell. I’d like to take you back to Ireland with me, through the doors of Gallagher’s Pub where the fire’s burning low and the pints are waiting. I have a story to tell you.

TEARS OF THE MOON $ 7.99 (Book 2)(362 Pages)

Dear Reader,

Those who dream by day bring beauty to the world. The art and the music, the stories and the heart. Ireland holds its dreams dear. Still, along with its poets and artists, the Irish can be a practical lot. In one hand they hold their magic, and in the other the sweat of their labor. In Tears of the Moon, I’ve clasped those hands together with the dreamer Shawn Gallagher and the clear-minded Brenna O’Toole. Carrick, Prince of Faeries, has his work cut out for him with these two if he is to bring them together and take the next step toward breaking the spell that separates him from his own love, and his own destiny.

He has a gift for them, but they must accept it and each other with selfless hearts. Pride and ambition must be outweighed by love and generosity. Two people who have known one another all their lives will have to look at each other with different eyes. High able the tidy village of Ardmore, on a windy cliff near the well of an ancient saint, there is magic and music in the air. Have a seat on the bench here, and listen for it.

HEART OF THE SEA $ 7.99 (Book 3)(386 Pages)

Dear Reader,

Lore and legend play a vital part in history of Ireland. Song and story have been written of the faerie rafts and the Good People who live in those silver castles under the green hills. So it is those stories and those songs that make up a charming portion of Irish cultures. Trevor Magee’s people sprang from this, though they traveled across the sea to settle in America. And made their fortune. But like many whose roots are in those hills, Trevor is drawn back to the land of his ancestors. He will come to Ardmore to build his dream, a theater to showcase the art of his heritage.

To do so he’ll work with the Gallaghers, and use their traditional pub in his plans. In Heart of the Sea, he will live in a cottage where a ghost walks and waits for her true love. He will cross wits with a faerie prince who is determined to have his way at last. And he will meet, deal with, and desire the intriguing and frustrating Darcy Gallagher. All of her life she’s wanted more, and made no secret of her hope to find a rich man to give her a lush and exciting life. Now that she’s met him, it’s a matter of hearts that must be won. His as well as hers. Until they are, the spell that separates lovers holds fast. Take a walk with me in the shadow of an ancient round tower. I’ll tell you what happened.

Okay so I decided that it would be interesting to talk about our favorite authors in the Thursday Thirteen posts. Since this is a blog titled "Talk About My Favorite Authors" I think that from now on I will be writing 13 things about authors and the books they write. So for today's Thursday Thirteen edition I will be writing 13 things about my favorite author Nora Roberts. All of this information is quoted from her website, Nora Roberts.
Thirteen Things about Nora Roberts

1. Nora Roberts was born in Silver Spring Maryland, the youngest of five children. 2. Through the years, Nora has always been surrounded by men. Not only was she the youngest in her family, but she was also the only girl. She has raised two sons. Having spent her life surrounded by men has given Ms. Roberts a fairly good view of the workings of the male mind, which is a constant delight to her readers. It was, she's been quoted as saying, a choice between figuring men out or running away screaming. 3. Nora is a member of several writers groups and has won countless awards from her colleagues and the publishing industry. 4. Home for Nora Roberts for the past 30 years has been on the top of a hill in western Maryland. 5. When she’s not writing, Nora tends to her gardens. She recovers from her annual spring book tour by ruthlessly weeding, planting and mulching, and enlisting her family to help out. Her constant battles with marauding deer have made it into her books and entertained her fans over the years. There’s an herb garden off the kitchen, a hillside of tiger lilies and hundreds of annuals throughout the property, giving Nora ample opportunity to still play in the dirt. 6. Since she started writing stories down in notebooks 28 years ago, Nora Roberts has used discipline and talent in equal measure. Early in her career, she worked her writing in between her sons’ pre-school and nap schedules every day. When they were both in school full time, her writing schedule mirrored theirs, although she put in extra hours over the weekend. Now, after 160 books and countless bestsellers, she writes eight hours a day -- every day. 7. Before she started writing, Nora Roberts was a woman in search of a creative outlet. Staying at home with her two small sons, she was the ultimate earth mother, gardening, canning fruits and vegetable, making her son’s clothes, stitching and knitting. “I macramed two hammocks,” she admits now. “I needed help.”. 8. Now that her sons are grown, Nora looks back at that February Blizzard as a blessing in disguise. “I started writing as a way to save my sanity,” she says, “and I fell into a job that I love.” 9. Since 1999, every book published under the Nora Roberts name was a New York Times bestseller. 10. There are enough Nora Roberts books in print to fill the seats of Giants Stadium nearly 4,000 times. 11. If you place all Nora’s books top to bottom, they would stretch across the United States from Los Angeles to New York City 10 times. 12. Nora’s books have spent a combined 116 weeks at the number one spot on the New York Times bestseller list!. 13. In the time you take to read this section, another 21 Nora Roberts books were sold.

I've been reading her books since my mom's friend gave me her daughter's old books and Nora Roberts' book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter's Warrior Song. So now I'm going to say that the Key Trilogy series is a very suspenseful novel about 3 totally different women who meet each other and the men they find on the way to saving the world. I recommend this series for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. KEY OF LIGHT $ 7.99 (Book 1)(342 Pages)

Fate brings three women together for a chance to unlock their deepest desires. Malory has the soul of an artist and an eye for beauty. She must find the Key of Light—on the first of the three dangerous quests that could fulfill her destiny…Or forever destroy her life.

Nora Roberts invites you to join the ultimate quest for beauty.

From # 1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes the first novel in the unforgettable trilogy of destiny and desire. This is Malory’s journey…

Malory hadn’t wanted to attend the cocktail reception at Warrior’s Peak. A fanciful name for a spooky old place, she thought. At another time she’d have been thrilled at the opportunity to see the inside of the great old house so high on the ridge.

The pleasure of your company is desired
for cocktails and conversations
Eight P.M., September 4
Warrior’s Peak
You are the key. The lock awaits.

Now how weird was that? Malory asked herself, and gritted her teeth as the car shimmied in a sudden gust of wind. The way her luck was going, it was probably a scam for some pyramid scheme. The road forked, and blend on the right streamed through enormous stone pillars. Malory slowed, gawked at the sized warriors standing on each pillar. Perhaps it was the storm, the night, her own jittery mood, but they looked more human than stone with hair flying around their fierce faces, their hands gripped on the kilts of swords. In the shimmer of lightning, she could almost see muscles rippling in the arms, over the broad, bare chests.

She inched the car closer. Gargoyles hunched along the walls, crawled over the caves. Gargoyles do not come to life, she assured herself, repeating the words over and over in her head as she rolled the window down a cautious half-inch. “Welcome to Warrior’s Peak.” His voice boomed over the rain…

KEY OF KNOWLEDGE $ 7.99 (Book 2)(338 Pages)

Fate brings three women together for a chance to unlock their deepest desires. Dana has always found her greatest passion in books. She must search for the Key of Knowledge—on the second of three dangerous quests that leads her to find the truth hidden among deception and lies…or succumb to her worst nightmare.

Nora Roberts invites you to join the ultimate quest for truth.

From # 1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes the second novel in the unforgettable trilogy of destiny and desire. This is Dana’s journey…

Even with all Dana had seen and done, with all she’d been apart of over the last four weeks
, it was hard to believe she was stretched out in the backseat of her brother’s car, heading back up the steep winding road to the great stone house of Warrior’s Peak. And what waited for her there.

It wasn’t storming, as it had been on her first trip to the Peak, after receiving that intriguing invitation for “cocktails and conversation” from Rowena and Pitte, an invitation that had gone out to only two other women. And she wasn’t alone. And this time, she thought, she knew exactly what she was in for.

Idly, she opened the notebook she’s brought along and read the summary she’d written of the story she’d heard on her first visit to Warrior’s Peak.

Each daughter, demi-goddess, has a specific talent or gift. One is art, or beauty, the other is knowledge or truth, the third is courage or valor. A spell is cast on the daughters. The daughters souls are stolen, locked in a glass box, known as the Box of Souls, which can only be opened by three keys turned by human hands. If the quest is completed, the Box of Souls will be opened and The Daughters of Glass freed. And the three women would have a cool one million dollars each.

And interesting story, Dana mused, until you understood it wasn’t a story but fact. Until you understood you were one of the three women who had the means to unlock the Box of Souls. Then it just got weird.

KEY OF VALOR $ 7.99 (Book 3)(340 Pages)

Fate brings three women together for a chance to unlock their deepest desires. Dana has always found her greatest passion in books. Zoe is about to discover her true courageous spirit. She must find the Key of Valor—on the last of the three dangerous quests that will force her to confront her darkest fears…or suffer immeasurable loss.

Nora Roberts invites you to join the ultimate quest for courage.

From # 1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts comes the third novel in the unforgettable trilogy of destiny and desire. This is Zoe’s journey…

Zoe had eaten in this dining room before, with its soaring ceilings and roaring fire. She knew how lovely everything looked under the lights of the chandeliers and the glow of candles.

But this time, she knew without a doubt the way the evening would end. It wouldn’t be a matter of a lottery. It wouldn’t be the luck of the draw.

Both Malory and Dana had taken their turn. She helped them. She knew she’d contributed ideas, support, even comfort. But when pushed came to shove, she understood the burden had been on each of them, in their turn. In the end, both Malory and Dana had to reach deep inside themselves every bit as much as they’d had to reach for the tangible key.

Now it was her burden, her risk. Her chance.

She had to be brave enough, smart enough, and strong enough or everything they’d done before her would be for nothing.

I've been reading her books since my mom's friend gave me her daughter's old books and Nora Roberts' book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter's Warrior Song. So now I'm going to say that the Chesapeake Bay Saga Series because it was a very suspenseful story that was about 3 totally different adopted brothers who loving adoptive parents the Quinns loved them dearly. They also have a newly adopted brother that their dearly departed adoptive father had suddenly adpoted before his death. I recommend this series for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. Here is the descriptions of the books from the back covers and pictures:

SEA SWEPT $ 7.99 (Book 1)(340 Pages)

DEAR READER,

I like men. I’d better as I have four older brothers. I grew up outnumbered, then had two sons and continued to be in the minority. It was either like them, appreciate them, a
nd do my best to understand them, or rum screaming.

I like writing about men—their minds and hearts and hopes and dreams. I particularly enjoy exploring the dynamics between men, brothers, fathers and sons, friends. So it seemed natural to delve into these kinds of relationships in a series.

Cameron, Ethan and Phillip were all troubled young boys who were adopted at difficult periods in their lives by Raymond and Stella Quinn. They didn’t share blood, but they became a family. In Sea Swept, Cameron’s story, the family faces tragedy and scandal that will change lives. Cameron’s lived the reckless life of a daredevil since leaving the quiet community on Maryland’s Eastern Shore where Ray and Stella raised him and his brothers. He likes fast boats, fast cars, and fast women. Now he’s been called home, not only to say good-by to the only father he ever loved, but also to face the challenge of caring for the last lost boy Ray was determined to save.

Who is Seth, this prickly young boy a dying Ray asked his sons to protect? To find out, and to
keep his promise, Cameron will have to put the life he’s chosen on hold. And deal with a certain sexy social worker who’s every bit as determined as he to proved Seth with the right home. Anna Spinelli is full of surprises, and challenges. I hope you’ll enjoy the Quinn men who are willing to fight to keep a promise.

RISING TIDES $ 7.99 (Book 2)(340 Pages)

DEAR READER,

The he
art and soul of the Maryland Eastern Shore are its watermen, the men who make their livings on the Chesapeake Bay and its channels. They face hardships, storms short seasons. Day after day, year after year, they ply the waters—settling their cab pots, dredging for oysters—and are privy to a world many of us will never know. Seeing the red dawn break over dark water, watching a storm roll in slow and black from the east. In their rubber boots and thick gloves they pilot their workboats through frigid dawns or sweltering afternoons searching for the blue crabs the area is famous for.

Ethan Quinn is a waterman. He wasn’t born to the tradition, but has embraced it. he’s a quiet man whose heart runs as deep as the waters he loves. In Rising Tides he’ll face more than the challenge of making his living on the Bay or struggling to make the fledging boatbuilding business he and his brothers began a success.

There’s a young boy who needs him, and a woman and child he loves but never believed he could have. To shape his life around them, Ethan must face his own dark past, accept not only who he is but what he hopes to become.

INNER HARBOR $ 7.99 (Book 3)(335 Pages)

DEAR READER,

Home
means different things to different people. Making a home can be both a challenge and a joy. Those of us who are lucky have fond memories of the place where we grew up, of the traditions set there. Inner Harbor deals with finding that home, making it and preserving it.

Ray and Stella Quinn had given Phillip a second chance at life. He’d never forgotten what they’d done for him. With his brothers, Cameron, Ethan, and now Seth, Phillip worked to maintain their home and keep a promise to a man he loved. Maybe he preferred his life in Annapolis, the museums, but he’d keep his promise even if it meant splitting his time on the shore, laboring over hulls and homework.

Home was what Ray had wanted his sons, all of his sons. To keep his promise, and his home, Phillip must accept the boy Ray brought into their lives, and deal with a beautiful woman who has secrets that will affect all of them—a woman who needs both his trust and his heart.

To clear their father’s name and keep a sacred vow, the Quinns will band together. A family formed by fate and the generous hearts of a special couple.

CHESAPEAKE BLUE $ 7.99 (Book 4)(357 Pages)

# 1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts returns to Chesapeake Bay and her beloved Quinn family for the story of Seth Quinn, the long-awaited conclusion to the breathtaking drama of Sea Swept, Rising Tides, and Inner Harbor.

Seth Quinn is finally home.

It’s been
a long journey. After a harrowing boyhood with his drug-addicted mother, he was taken in by the Quinn family, and grew up with three older brothers who watched over him with love.

Now, a grown man returning from Europe as a successful painter, Seth is settling down on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, surrounded by Cam, Ethan, and Phillip once again, and their wives and kids, all the blessed chaos of the extended Quinn clan. Finally he’s back in the little blue-and-white house where there’s always a boat at the dock, a rocker on the porch, and a dog in the yard.

Still, a lot has changed in St. Christopher since he’s been gone—and the most intriguing change of all is the presence of Dru Whitcomb Banks. A city girl who’s opened a florist shop in the seaside town, she craves independence and the challenge of establishing herself without the influence of her wealthy connections. In Seth, she sees another kind of challenge—one that she can’t resist.

But storms are brewing that will put their relationship to the test. Because Dru’s past has made her sensitive to deception, and slow to trust. And Seth’s past has made him a target of blackmail—as a secret he’s kept hidden for years threatens to explode, destroying his new life and his new love….

I absolutely love, love, LOVE Nora Roberts. I've been reading her books since my mom's friend gave me her daughter's old books and Nora Roberts' book Three Fates was in the mix with my first Catherine Coulter's Warrior Song. High Noon is a very romantic and very thrilling novel. I loved the main character for 2 reasons: one is because I have always loved the name Phoebe and two because she is a very strong and independent woman who is a loving single mom. I recommend this book for all romance readers and anyone who is not a romance reader read it anyway and you will become a true romance reader because it is that good. After watching her talk one of his employees off a roof ledge, he is committed to keeping this intriguing, take-charge woman in his life. Phoebe’s used to working solo, but she’s finding that no amount of negotiation can keep Duncan at arm’s length.

When she’s grabbed by a man who throws a hood over her head and brutally assaults her—in her own precinct house—Phoebe can’t help being deeply shaken. And when threatening messages appear on her doorstep, she’s not just alarmed but frustrated. How do you go face-to-face with an opponent who refuses to look you in the eye?

Now, with Duncan backing her up every step of the way, she must establish contact with the faceless tormentor who is determined to make her a hostage to fear—before she becomes the final showdown.

I think Nora Roberts is a very good author and her MacKade Brothers Series is one of her great works of writing. Here are the descriptions of the books from the Barnes & Noble website and pictures:

The MacKade Brothers: Rafe and Jared by Nora Roberts $ 14.95 (Book 1)

New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts returns with the embodiment of tall, dark and dangerous! Back by popular demand, the irresistible MacKade brothers are once again stirring the heart of every female that crosses their path.

Ten years later and the bad boy of the bunch had returned home. Appealing as ever, not even lovely Regan Jones, the town's reserved antiques dealer, was immune to Rafe MacKade. Regan claimed her plans didn't include relationships with rebels, but her reaction to The Return of Rafe MacKade—and his sizzling kisses—said something quite different.

Attorney Jared MacKade had his pick of women. His dealings with Savannah Morningstar were strictly business, but thoughts of the outrageous, direct and sinfully sexy woman kept him coming back for more. With Savannah's incendiary attitude, plus The Pride of Jared MacKade, something—good or bad—was bound to erupt.

The MacKade Brothers: Devin and Shane by Nora Roberts $ 14.95 (Book 2)

The sinfully sexy MacKade brothers are back! New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts's reader favorites are once again breaking the hearts of women everywhere.

Sheriff Devin MacKade watched—patiently, painfully—as the woman he secretly cherished suffered through a less-than-perfect marriage. Now pretty Cassie Connor was free...but vulnerable. Devin knew he'd have to tread slowly, all the while wondering if The Heart of Devin MacKade could ever claim the woman he loved.

The youngest MacKade, Shane, was a man of the land, so the last woman he expected to catch his eye was a Ph.D.-toting academic. But Rebecca Knight had caught much more than that. One beautiful lady didn't mean The Fall of Shane MacKade from bachelorhood was a sure thing. But it was definitely a possibility...
