I entered a contest a couple of weeks ago that Vanessa Jaye was giving away two *e-book* copies of Felicity Stripped Bare, all she asked is that you post a review online once you've read it and send her the link so she could post it the link to the review on her blog. I was lucky enough to have one that copy and I have finished reading it and now I'm writing my review. Felicity Stripped Bare is out on July 8th and you can get it by visiting Samhain Publishing.
I honestly loved the eBook very much and I am glad that I won the contest because on top of getting a free eBook I found a new author I enjoy reading. Felicity Cameron is such a complex heroine and very different from the heroines that I've usually read about. I liked how she interacted and fell in love with Daniel Mackenzie and it was fun to read about how they struggled to deny there growing attraction to each other. It was fun reading about all the problems that Felicity and Daniel had to go through in order to really understand that they were meant for each other. I really thought Daniel's mother, Elle, a very nice woman but his father, Michael, is a not to my liking because he seemed to me as a real jerk. I like Felicity's friend, Cheryl, was what a friend should be because she tried to look out for Felicty as best she could and supported her when she needed it and when Felicity's ex-boyfriend tries to get her to take him back Cheryl is there to kick his butt to the curb for her friend. I don't like giving spoilers when I write my reviews so I won't go into the story in details. All I can say is that I loved it and I'm glad that I won the eBook and I really recommend that you consider putting this eBook at the top of your list of books to buy and read.
Here is the blurb that I got from the Felicity Stripped Bare Samhain Publishing page and the cover art by Anne Cain:

Just when things are looking up, she falls for the man of her dreams. It’s been ten years since Felicity skipped out of high school, leaving behind the taunts of “retard”. Things have hardly improved since then. Her job waitressing at a strip club is just one more tick in the “sucks” column of her life. Now she’s signed up for tutoring and her future looks bright…until her hunky new landlord starts wreaking havoc on her libido. And did he just say, “Evicted”? Not so fast, buddy. She may be dyslexic, but she’s not stupid.
Daniel MacKenzie is this close to achieving his dream of setting up his own renovation company, so he’s not interested in more demands on his time. Not even if one of those demands is a tenant wearing skintight jeans, teetering on four-inch heels and complaining a blue streak with the most kissable mouth on the planet.
Despite his resolve not to mix business with pleasure, Daniel not only teeters, he tumbles head-first into the scorching sexual tension between them. He’s a man who’s used to getting what he wants, and he’s not above pulling every trick in the book to get—and keep—Felicity in his life. But she’s holding something back. And he’s afraid it’s her heart.
